Job Description

Responsible for using work orders or instructions to assemble units. There is also machine op opportunities available if experienced in that field. Pulling parts from inventory to prepare part kits for shipment, and fastening parts together using various fasteners. You will use hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers to assemble parts, ensuring your workspace is clean and adhering to visual work order instructions provided via computers and tablets at each station.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble units using work orders or instructions.
  • Pull parts from inventory to assemble part kits and prepare for shipment.
  • Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, and other fasteners.
  • Use hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers to assemble parts.
  • Clean the work space regularly.
  • Follow visual work orders using computers and tablets at each station.
Essential Skills
  • 6 months or more of manufacturing experience (assembly, machine operating, quality, etc.).
  • Ability to read and follow work orders.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Mechanical assembly skills.
  • Blueprint reading capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must own or purchase steel toe shoes prior to the start date.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
