Virtual Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist in New Mexico
Position: Virtual BilingualSpeech Language Pathologist (Spanish)
Location: New Mexico (Virtual)
Employment Type: Contract 1099
Employer: VocoVision
Pay: $45 - $52/hr (dependent upon credentials and experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid New Mexico license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- If residing outside of New Mexico, must hold a license in the state of residence in addition to a New Mexico license.
- Bilingual (Spanish) - must be able to do evaluations and conferences in Spanish fluently
- Minimum of two years of virtual teaching experience.
- Ability to provide own liability insurance.
- Must be a US resident
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with school-aged children in a virtual setting.
- Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
