We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Sr. - Corporate based in Encino, California. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, engaging in direct communication with clients, and handling correspondences with the IRS/FTB. This role is essential in our team as it ensures the accuracy and efficiency of our tax operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review various types of tax returns including Individual, S Corp, C Corp, LLC, partnership, and trust returns
• Ensure accuracy in handling approximately 3000 returns annually
• Correspond with IRS/FTB as required
• Directly communicate with clients to resolve inquiries and provide updates
• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software in performing tax-related tasks
• Ensure adherence to corporate income tax and corporate tax compliance rules
• Demonstrate quick learning capabilities and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably in a corporate environment
• Proficiency in Lacerte required
• Expertise in Corporate Income Tax, Corporate Tax Compliance, and Corporate Tax Return is a must
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
• Professional certifications such as CPA or EA would be an advantage.
