Description

A Fiber Optic Technician specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables. Responsibilities include splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables, ensuring connections are secure and performing at optimal levels. They must be proficient with tools and equipment used in the field, such as fusion splicers and OTDR testers, and have a thorough understanding of safety procedures and industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

Maintain Safety:
-Adhere to Consultants Safety policies and procedures.
-Adhere to customer policies and safety rules on the job site.
-Develop and maintain a \"Safety Attitude\"
-Must have hard hat and safety glasses

Columbus cabling company has needs for Fiber Technicians for projects in Central Ohio. They are looking for a hardworking, punctual individual who has experience with Single and Multi Mode Fiber. Looking for those who can install, Test and Trouble shoot. This company is notorious for bringing on our consultants full time.
