Responsibilities of the Shop Hand include, but are not limited to:

  • Will service fire extinguishers and breathing air equipment
  • Will assist the mechanic
  • Shop upkeep and maintenance
  • Customer service
  • Making deliveries
  • General shop duties and other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications of the Shop Hand include, but are not limited to:

  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Experience repairing safety equipment preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical

Physical Demand: Must be able to pass physical and lift up to 50lbs


Working Conditions: Shop Environment

Training/Certifications: N/A

Shift Time/Overtime: 6:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday; Must be able to work OT as necessary

Travel: N/A

Education: HS Diploma or GED
