We are seeking a detail-oriented, diligent, and organized bookkeeper to assist with our client in New Windsor New York, starting immediately.


Details of the role include:

  • Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. (25 AP Checks/month) (AR tasks include light outbound collections calls)
  • Execute monthly data entry and ensure accuracy of all data.
  • Process invoices and verify the same with purchase orders and quotations.
  • Conduct monthly checks and complete low volume transactions successfully.
  • Run payroll for our team of 8 employees.
  • Work in conjunction with the owner, cross-referencing, identifying discrepancies in data, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Exhibit finesse while reviewing files and matching data in systems.



  • Work in office 2x a week, in New Windsor NY
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Proficient in Yardi Breeze (ideal), QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Candidates with a relevant associates degree will be preferred

Work Schedule: Twice a week, 9 am – 5 pm (flexible)

Duration: Project-based, 1-3 months
