Job Description

We are seeking to fill a Roll Operator position as well as qualified Skilled Trades candidates for a company in Clackamas, OR. The min pay will be 28$HR for any role, but can be higher based on experience and certifications. This shift is a Day Shift position on a 6am start time.

The primary focus will be supporting the concrete industry by building forms for utility and structural projects into which concrete will be poured. These forms can vary in size but can be quite large. The Roll Operator is responsible for material coordination for the profile department, ensuring machines operate with minimal downtime for material movement. Training will cover lift truck operation, boom lifts, cranes, and profile rolling for plate and structural steel with diverse products following customer specifications and blueprint drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate materials for the profile department to minimize machine downtime.
  • Operate lift trucks, boom lifts, cranes, and profile rolling equipment.
  • Follow customer specifications and blueprint drawings for diverse products.
  • Support the concrete industry by building forms for utility and structural projects.
  • Ensure safe and efficient machine operation.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in roll forming and roll operator positions.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading.
  • Experience with overhead cranes.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, press brake, sheet metal, and punch press operations.
  • Ability to operate various machinery including lift trucks and boom lifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in plate roller machine operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
