Virtual Special Education Teacher/Intervention Specialist Position in Ohio

Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist with the ability to thrive in the online educational landscape? Soliant is actively seeking a Special Education Teacher/Intervention Specialist who can seamlessly integrate engaging and effective instructional programs in a virtual learning environment. Beyond curriculum development and upholding educational standards, our Special Education Teacher/Intervention Specialist will play a pivotal role in nurturing student growth and achievement.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized educational plans tailored to the unique needs of students, including those with special learning requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress, offering monthly evaluations and strategic remendations to enhance curriculum aspects.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with parents/guardians, ensuring clear and transparent munication about student advancement.
  • Actively engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of tailored educational strategies.

Qualifications and Background:

  • A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio State License as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist is mandatory.
  • While prior experience in a virtual learning environment is preferred, it is not obligatory.
  • We offer both part-time and full-time availability options.
  • The selected applicantwill be responsible for providing their own technology equipment.
