RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Pharmacy to oversee operations at a Specialty Pharmacy located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where patient care, quality, and safety are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all pharmacy operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation and dispensing of specialty medications while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal pharmacy performance.
  • Train and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting professional development and a team-oriented culture.
  • Ensure compliance with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC).
  • Monitor inventory management, financial performance, and quality control measures.
  • Address patient concerns and ensure high-quality service for specialty medication therapies.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday:8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active Indiana pharmacist license and in good standing.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in mail order pharmacy operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as required.
