Inventory Clerk

Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain steam cleaning/wash bay equipment.
• Ensure objects are properly cleaned and dried by using sprayer nozzles or immersing objects in washing and rinsing solutions.
• Handle the loading and unloading of parts into various equipment, including ovens and vats.
• Assist in the movement of equipment in and out of the steam rack bay.
• Perform and log daily and weekly maintenance activities.
• Identify and report any safety issues promptly, and take part in their resolution.
• Assist in keeping the workplace clean by removing waste from yard and work areas.
• Ensure worktables, bins, and equipment are cleaned between jobs and ready for the next project.
• Assist the Service Department in complying with all contamination control procedures.
• Support Technicians under the direction of Supervisors, and provide oversight when large equipment is being moved to prevent property damage and unsafe acts.
• Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records and reports as required.• Must hold at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Proficiency in data entry is mandatory.
• Must possess high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Must be capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, or disposing of inventory items.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management software is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Must be capable of maintaining an accurate record of inventory and stock control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.
• Must be able to adhere to safety and compliance guidelines in a warehouse environment.
• The ability to perform tasks under pressure and within deadline periods is required.
• Must possess problem-solving skills to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary.
• Experience in conducting audits of warehouse inventory is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
