Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility. This role involves conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and performing repairs to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial environments, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on production machinery.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, minimizing production downtime.
- Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve plant efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain equipment logs and documentation for all maintenance activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure machine settings and processes are optimized for output.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure that all equipment is compliant with regulatory standards.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of injection molding machines to ensure consistent product quality and optimal cycle times.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues specific to injection molding equipment, reducing downtime and maintaining production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, VFDs, motors, and gearboxes is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work on-call or different shifts as needed.
