Job DescriptionJob Description

Secure client located in the Philadelphia area seeks a Senior Grants Coordinator with NON-PROFIT grant accounting experience. In this role, you will be responsible for compliance, budgeting, preparing federal grant packages, reconciling grants to the general ledger, overseeing accounts payable/receivable balances, preparing compliance reports, and coordinating client meetings regarding financials. The ideal Senior Grants Coordinator for this role should have excellent time management abilities, proven ERP skills, and strong month end close experience.


Major Responsibilities

·      Create complex financial reports

·      Resolve grant discrepancies

·      Develop and follow up on grant programs

·      Assist with the monthly close process

·      Monitor compliance with third party federal regulations

·      Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

·      Review monthly financial statements

·      Perform budget and financial analysis

·      Assist with special projects

The ideal Senior Grants Coordinator will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.


Other requirements for the Senior Grants Coordinator role include and are not limited to:

·      3+ years in accounting with some non-profit grant experience

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·      Variety of ERP experience a plus
