Candidates considered for the Package Machine Operator role will be responsible for visually inspecting various sizes of pasta noodles in a food manufacturing setting. They will be standing on their feet for 8-10 hours a day, sifting through noodles for product that doesn't meet standards, and removing the product by hand. Candidates will also be responsible for packaging finished goods into boxes. Finished goods can weigh anywhere from 8lbs. to 35lbs. High attention to detail and common sense are essential soft skills for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Visually inspect various sizes of pasta noodles for quality.
  • Remove products that do not meet standards by hand.
  • Package finished goods into boxes, with weights ranging from 8lbs. to 35lbs.
  • Operate machinery in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and apply common sense in daily tasks.
Skills
  • Basic machine operating skills in a food manufacturing setting.
  • Proven track record of strong attendance verified by reference check.
  • Ability to lift upwards of 35 lbs. when needed.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to count accurately.
  • Capability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours a day.
Work Environment

The facility is a noodle manufacturing plant located in Frederickson. It is typically warm due to large ovens and very loud due to machinery. There are no bus routes that run to the area. Employees will be on their feet for 8-10 hours a day and may need to lift upwards of 35 lbs. when required. Day shift hours are from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional shift changes and overtime may be necessary to meet production demands.
