Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead for the packaging line on the second shift at our food manufacturing facility in Frederickson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting noodles, standing for 8 hours a day, and overseeing the packaging process. Experience in production, particularly in food production, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect noodles to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Package products efficiently and accurately.
  • Lead a team of 6 individuals in the packaging department.
  • Teach and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Oversee operators on two main lines and one tempura line.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Coordinate with the day shift lead during tie-in meetings.
Essential Skills
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to teach and mentor.
  • Previous experience in a production environment, preferably food manufacturing.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Reliable with a great attendance record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in food production is a plus but not required.
  • Flexible to work weekends if needed.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.

Work Environment

This position is based in a food manufacturing facility specializing in pasta noodles, located in Frederickson. The work hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility to start at 1:00 PM or 1:30 PM for meetings. The facility operates under GMP standards, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
