Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily financial accounting activities
• Facilitate month-end close processes
• Prepare and submit journal entries
• Manage account reconciliations
• Implement best practices for execution of accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with relevant teams as necessary on accounting-related matters
• Provide financial and business analysis to support strategic objectives
• Develop and utilize reporting tools to aid management decisions
• Execute additional duties and projects as assigned
• Uphold the principles of accounting in all tasks.• Proficiency in accounting principles and best practices
• Experience with account reconciliation and journal entries
• Familiarity with month-end close activities
• Strong knowledge of finance and business analysis
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as PeopleSoft and SAP S/4HANA
• Capable of performing ad hoc financial and accounting functions
• Prior experience in a retail or production facility environment is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of sustainable practices within the finance industry
• Familiarity with reporting tools and strategic objectives
• Experience with QA management is desirable
• Ability to adhere to procedures and manage time effectively.
