Position Overview:

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Hours: 35-40 hours per week
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • School Year: 2024-2025
  • Caseload: Approximately 5 students
  • Responsibilities:
    • Teach students who are blind, visually impaired, or have limited sight
    • Instruct core curriculum, Braille, and Independent Living Skills
    • Provide personalized educational strategies tailored to individual needs

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
  • State Teaching Certificationin Visual Education
  • Alternatively, a teaching degree with an endorsement or a separate certification in the field
