Job Description

The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, ensuring they have equal access to education and the ability to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure seamless support and communication.
  • Utilize Braille, large print, or assistive technology to facilitate access to curriculum materials.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • An active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
  • Experience working with visually impaired students is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to reflect the importance of this role and the impact it has on our students' lives.
