Job Description

A manufacturer in the northeastern Indianapolis area is searching for CNC Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift. The role involves setting up and operating CNC Press Brake machinery to cut, contour, or bend metal sheets or parts to customer specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate CNC Press Brake machinery
  • Insert metal sheets or parts into machines to be cut, contoured, or bent to customer specifications
  • Lift and shake out sheet metal and discard scrap
  • Use calipers and blueprints to ensure parts meet client specifications
  • Prepare parts for the Fabrication/Welding department
Essential Skills
  • Press Brake operating experience
  • Ability to read basic blueprints
  • Ability to stand for 12 hours
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience setting up a CNC Press Brake
  • Experience with other fabrication machinery (laser, grinder, bender, etc.)

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westfield, Indiana.
