Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our client’s team for a 6-month (potentially longer) remote assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and be well-versed in industry terminology.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage data rooms, maintain due diligence request lists, and track the status of reviews by different practice specialists
  • Review and amend a variety of commercial contracts related to real estate and agribusiness transactions, such as confidentiality agreements, lease terminations, construction agreements, service/vendor contracts, and property management agreements
  • Prepare, review, and maintain licenses and permits related to real estate operations, ensuring compliance with transaction requirements
  • Conduct due diligence for the purchase or lease of commercial and agricultural real estate, summarizing key contract terms, preparing assignments or terminations, and ensuring transaction closing conditions are met
  • Implement and manage a contract tracking system and maintain a comprehensive legal precedent form library for real estate contracts
  • Assess historical transaction documents and property management records for regulatory compliance, including ownership, tax, and valuation histories across multi-state portfolios
 
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of real estate experience as a licensed attorney with an active Bar license in the state of residence
  • Experience with construction contracts, real estate development, and managing commercial real estate transactions
  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing leases, purchase/sale agreements, and other commercial contracts such as confidentiality agreements and property management agreements
  • Skilled in conducting due diligence, reviewing regulatory compliance, and managing data rooms for real estate transactions
  • Capable of preparing and managing licenses and permits related to real estate operations
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in maintaining contract management systems and legal form libraries
  • Technology-savvy, with the ability to efficiently use contract management software and other tools for record keeping and tracking
 

Benefits:
Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and long term disability. Life and AD&D insurance, HSA, and 401K plan. The medical insurance provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Additionally, they offer paid time off and a discretionary bonus.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
