Packaging Technician

High School Diploma or GED required.

 

Location: Allentown, PA

 

Shift/Pay:

1st shift: 6:45am-2:45pm, Monday-Friday -- $17/hr

2nd shift: 3:15pm-11:15pm, Monday-Friday -- $18.70/hr

3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am, Sunday-Thursday -- $19.55/hr

For any hours worked in the freezer.

$2 fridge pay differential

$3 freezer pay differential

  • Not paid for lunches. Weekly hours will reach 37.5 with opportunity for OT.

 

Job Duties:

  • Cleans packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs).
  • Packing, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.
  • Performs computer-related tasks for signing in to a job, in-process actions and data entry.
  • Pulling product off conveyor and palletizing
  • Lifting 10-70 pounds when required
  • Will work in/out of the freezer (employees given differential for time in freezer)

Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE) including but not limited to filtering face masks, PAPR, N- 95 masks, half face masks and safety glasses is required to perform this position.

 

There is opportunity for voluntary overtime, for 2 hours before a shift starts, the 2 hours after a shift starts and Friday nights for the third shifts. *Possibly mandated OT, could be on Saturdays.
