Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join a rehabilitation hospital located in Lynnwood, WA, a northern suburb of Seattle. This is a 13-week contract assignment, offering the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting focused on patient rehabilitation and recovery.

Job Details:
  • Assignment Duration: ~13 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.
  • Work Schedule:
    • Monday to Friday, day shifts (typically 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week).
    • No weekends or holidays required.
  • Setting: Inpatient rehab hospital
  • Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Order verification: Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders.
    • Pharmacokinetics: Monitor and adjust medication dosing, including antibiotics and anticoagulants, using pharmacokinetic principles.
    • Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.
    • Consultation: Provide medication therapy management, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
    • Patient Care: Educate patients and families on medication use and potential side effects.
    • Regulatory pliance: Maintain pliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Washington State pharmacist license.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1-2 years of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred, particularly in a rehabilitation or similar setting.
    • Experience with order verification, pharmacokinetics, and clinical consulting is highly valued.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent munication and interpersonal skills, and a mitment to patient care.
  • Software: Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software systems (e.g., EPIC, Pyxis, or Omnicell) is preferred.
