Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary: Seeking a CNC Milling Machinist with experience in programming and operating multi-axis machine tools.

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant CNC Machining experience

  • Advanced understanding of lathe, drill press, milling machine operations, blueprint reading, and project layout

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in various forms

  • Proficiency in calculating and understanding units of measure, including fractions and decimals

  • Knowledge of measuring using a scale and tape measure

  • Ability to wear applicable PPE (Hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, steel toes shoes, ear protection, respirator when necessary)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Unigraphics, Power-Mill, and/or MasterCam Computer Aided Manufacturing software

Job Responsibilities:

  • Program three, four, and five axis machine tools

  • Set up and operate CNC milling centers with multi-axis capabilities

  • Operate conventional machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, band saws

  • Select proper tooling, jigs, fixtures for machining tasks

  • Set references for machine including all 5 axis moves within the program

  • Verify part setup for proper clearance between machine spindle and table



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
