Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Flowserve Corporation. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and use precision instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills to produce precision parts.
  • Use precision instruments to measure and inspect parts.
  • Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring equipment and instruments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and management.
  • Planning and organizing skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Health and safety knowledge to ensure a safe working environment.
