Job Description
  • As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for processing and packaging castings according to customer specifications or Supervisors' instructions.
  • Your duties will include the safe use of hand-held high-speed abrasive tools, files, and hammers to remove metal from castings, verifying conformance to specifications during air grinding operations, and maintaining the equipment.
  • Additionally, you will be expected to keep your work area clean and contribute to team activities focused on process and safety improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Read process sheets to process/package castings to customer specifications or per Supervisors' instructions.
  • Safely use hand-held high-speed abrasive tools, files, and hammers to remove metal from castings.
  • Verify conformance to specifications while performing air grinding operations.
  • Maintain equipment, including changing belts and lubrication as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Contribute to team activities, including process and safety improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
