We are seeking a skilled technician for a direct hire opportunity with a stable, growing manufacturer. This is a 1st shift position paying $30-$36/hr based on experience/interview, overtime available, and provide excellent benefits Approximately 25-35% domestic and local travel required (note: typically 1-2 week stints, possibly 3 weeks. After traveling would likely not again for 4-6 months depending on project needs).

  • Responsible for reading schematics, building and wiring control panels for custom equipment.
  • Responsible for the installation, diagnostics, startup, and commissioning of custom test equipment.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance of existing equipment.
  • Verifying electrical functionality of assembled machinery.
  • Work with engineering
Skills:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • PC and PLC controls
  • 2-5+ years of experience with industrial controls systems
