PDS Tech is seeking Assemblers in Smithfield, PA

Job Title: Assembler
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (6 months)
Location: Smithfield, PA 15478
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Shifts: First, 7am-330pm
Pay Rate: 25 to 32 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.

  • Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication and testing of new concepts and technology

  • Travel to other client facilities required.

  • The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).

  • Must have 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Must have 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools.

  • Must have 1+ years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards.

  • Must have 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes.



Pay Details: 25.00 to 32.00 per hour
