Job DescriptionJob Description

Our Alarm Technician 2 is required to install, program and/or maintain/repair security alarm and electronic video wiring and equipment while ensuring work is in accordance with relevant codes.

Essential Functions
• Apply high quality techniques
• Meet or exceed production requirements
• Maintain the appropriate level and quality of tools
• Attend all required seminars and classes
• Reduce material and time waste
• Install or repair security systems, alarm devices, or related equipment for residential and/or commercial property
• Install or repair enterprise level electronic video components and wiring for residential and/or commercial property
• Install or repair basic card access control components and wiring for commercial property
• Follow blueprints of electrical layouts, residential layouts and building plans
• Install or repair audio and visual smart devices, such as remote access locks, security cameras and/or smart burglar alarms
• Provide and maintain all licenses, permits or technical qualifications that are, or may be required by any governmental agency as part of that which is necessary to fulfill the duties of this position. This shall include but not be limited to Public Act 217
• Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety/security concerns
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems through various troubleshooting techniques
• Keep a neat and accurate inventory

Must drive own vehicle will be reimbursed for mileage

Great customer service skills. Techs will interact with people at their homes and business owners.
