LHH is seeking a PURCHASING AGENT (HVAC) for a direct hire position in Spring, TX.

 

Position: PURCHASING AGENT (HVAC)

Type: direct hire

Location: 100% ONSITE (77389 zip code)

Pay Range: $75,000-80,000 annually DOE

Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am-5 pm

 

SUMMARY:

The Entry Level Purchasing Agent is responsible for ordering stock inventory for all branch locations for his or her designated group of product lines. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels and managing those levels to ensure an efficient flow of inventory while working within budget and department guidelines. 

 

DUTIES:

· Analyzing data to determine order quantity

· Manage and process purchase orders in compliance with corporate guidelines

· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors

· Follow-up and expedite purchase orders

· Create a plan to minimize loss and prevent inventory from becoming aged

· Working closely with vendors and store managers to maximize product sales potential

· Performing intercompany audits including cycle counts and physical inventories

· Perform other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma REQUIRED

 

SKILLS:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Basic Microsoft Excel experience

· Excellent time management skills

· Strong organization skills

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ of purchasing experience

  • HVAC experience REQUIRED

· Experience with ERP systems not required

· Experience with Eclipse E-term is desirable but not required



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
