Job Overview: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time position in Lincolnshire, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves working with middle school students, providing essential behavioral support and intervention to enhance their educational experience.

Position Details:

  • Title: Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Location: Lincolnshire, IL (Onsite Only)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Duration: August 19, 2024 - June 6, 2025
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:40 PM
  • Population: Middle school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide 1:1 support to students in academic and behavioral areas.
  • Collect and record data on student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Must hold current RBT certification.
  • Previous experience in a school-based or behavioral setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support and intervention services.
