Job Title: Quality Technician
Pay Rate: $21-$28 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of product quality are maintained throughout the production process. This role is critical in upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide all necessary paperwork and documentation to the shop floor to facilitate smooth production processes.
  • Supply production teams with the appropriate measuring equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and maintained.
  • Calibrate and maintain all measuring instruments within the facility to ensure precision.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • Address and resolve questions from production employees regarding customer specifications and quality requirements.
  • Regularly inspect materials being produced to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing quality procedures across the production floor.
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) as needed to support quality assurance efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in measurement techniques and familiar with various measuring tools and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey techniques and instructions clearly to production employees.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods while performing inspections and other duties.
  • Capability to lift and handle materials as required by the job.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods, managing documentation and quality records.
