We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr Tax Staff to join our team based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The role primarily involves the utilization of various accounting software systems to perform complex tax and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.


The salary range will be $75,000 - $90,000 DOE, along with phenomenal benefits, unique spin on busy season schedules, and bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:


• Utilize accounting software systems such as CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, and CCH Prosystem to process tax-related tasks.

• Conduct auditing activities to ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with laws and regulations.

• Perform financial statement analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Perform entity formation tasks, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting functions to optimize financial operations.

• Use CCH ProSystem Fx for efficient and accurate tax preparation and compliance.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Must hold a minimum of three years' experience in a similar tax role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx.
• Demonstrable experience in handling accounting functions, auditing, compliance, entity formation, and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex tax issues.
• Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Current certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job.
