Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to troubleshoot electrical issues, perform facilities maintenance, and install, test, and maintain electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient with hand tools and able to work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Perform electrical facilities maintenance
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment
  • Use hand tools for electrical tasks
  • Work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings
Essential Skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Electrical maintenance
  • Experience as a Journeyman Electrician
  • Industrial electrician skills
  • Proficiency in installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician preferred
  • Electrical journeyman certification (must provide documentation)
  • Alternatively, 8 years of relevant electrical experience with verification from prior employers

Work Environment

This role is based in a UNION automotive manufacturing facility. The work environment can include both indoor and outdoor tasks, such as working on rooftop HVAC units. Be prepared for hot and cold temperatures, a loud manufacturing setting, and potentially dirty conditions depending on the work area. Shifts available are on the 2nd shift, from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
