Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a 1st Shift position in Westbrook. In this role, you will operate CNC machines, handle your own setup and tooling, and be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, making adjustments, and repairs as needed. You will also perform quality checks and verify incoming work orders for accuracy. A tool crib is available onsite to assist with tooling needs. This position requires previous CNC Machinist experience.

Hard Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Tool or equivalent
  • Experience with horizontal milling
  • Measuring tool and cutting tool experience
  • Blueprint and work order experience
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work under limited guidance and supervision
  • Comfortable with setup and tooling changes
Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Westbrook, Maine.

Work Environment

Schedule - 1st shift. Steel toed shoes required. Large open machine shop with moderate noise.
