Residential Case Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our nonprofit client who is hiring a Residential Case Manager. This role will be 100% onsite in the Long Beach area, performing both field work and in-office duties and will be a contract-to-hire opportunity, Monday-Friday. Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with the homeless demographic, including individuals who may be suffering from mental health and/or substance abuse ailments.
This position will be focused on assisting a client caseload with a wide array of services, the main goal being helping to find a more stable housing environment for clients. In addition to supportive housing resources, this role will assist clients in obtaining any necessary documentation, employment resources, and potentially healthcare resources as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 1 year case management/social work experience
- Proficient within Microsoft Office and other software systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish desired, not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with a variety of internal and external contacts
- Empathetic and compassionate towards others
- Excellent attention to detail, as this role will require extensive documentation
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and de-escalate as needed
- Can meet deadlines when needed

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
