Bilingual Legal Secretary

Responsibilities:
• Manage front desk operations to ensure smooth office functioning.
• Provide comprehensive phone coverage, including answering calls, taking messages, and forwarding calls as necessary.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences as required.
• Use bilingual skills in Spanish and English to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Translate documents, conversations, and meetings from English to Spanish and vice versa.
• Handle client relations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Perform basic billing functions as needed.
• Manage office calendar, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments.
• No legal experience necessary; emphasis on customer service skills.• Proficiency in Spanish language, both written and spoken, is mandatory for this role as it involves Spanish translation.
• Extensive experience in billing functions is required.
• Strong skills in calendar management are needed for scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings.
• Proven track record in managing client relations effectively.
• Legal secretarial experience in a bilingual environment would be an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently when necessary.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documents.
• Experience in a law firm or legal department would be beneficial.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a higher degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
