School Psychologist
Location: Dayton, IN

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Dayton, IN. The School Psychologist will play a key role in assessing students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs, and in developing intervention strategies to support student success. This position involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create effective learning environments and ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop interventions and strategies that support academic and personal growth
  • Participate in special education eligibility meetings, offering expertise on student needs and appropriate services
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure effective outes
  • Assist with crisis intervention and offer mental health support when necessary
  • Ensure pliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and Section 504

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Indiana School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling strategies
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students (preferred)
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with special education laws and procedures
