About the Role:
VocoVision is seeking a highly skilled Virtual School Psychologist to join our team. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in our virtual learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and support strategies.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote a positive and inclusive school climate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and regulations related to school psychology and virtual education.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Ohio license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working as a school psychologist in a K-12 educational setting.
- Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and providing teletherapy services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
