About the Role:

VocoVision is seeking a highly skilled Virtual School Psychologist to join our team. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in our virtual learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and support strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to promote a positive and inclusive school climate.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and regulations related to school psychology and virtual education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Ohio license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working as a school psychologist in a K-12 educational setting.
  • Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and providing teletherapy services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
