Job Title: Community Manager
Location: Onsite in Corvallis, OR
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay: $24-$27 per hour
Contract Duration: 1-3 month contract with potential for permanent hire

 

Job Summary: The Community Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of the community, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating a positive living experience for our client's residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Manage leasing activities, including showing apartments, processing applications, and executing lease agreements.

  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring the community is well-maintained and safe.

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current ones.

  • Prepare and manage the community's budget, ensuring financial goals are met.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

  • Supervise and train community staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in property management or a related field.

  • Experience with HUD, Section 8 or LIHTC properties highly preferred. 

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in property management is a plus.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
