Job Description

Perform a wide range of duties within the plant, with a focus on the welding department. Responsibilities include welding rebars together using TIG and Stick welding techniques, stripping and cleaning concrete forms, pouring concrete, and preparing rebar in molds. This position involves repetitive work and maintaining good housekeeping and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Weld rebars together using TIG and Stick welding techniques
• Strip and clean concrete forms
• Pour, shovel, vibrate, and finish concrete
• Prepare rebar in molds
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety regulations of the facility
• Sweep and fill water jugs as needed

Essential Skills

• Labor experience in construction, manufacturing, or production
• At least 3 months of related experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor, welding, construction, and hand tools
• Familiarity with rebar and concrete work
• A team player mentality with a willingness to perform various tasks as needed

Work Environment

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with potential for 8 to 10-hour days. The first day starts at 8:30am for safety training. The work environment is primarily outdoors, involving heat and sun exposure, as well as dirty and dusty conditions. Teams of 2-6 work together on each line. The indoor department ensures work continues regardless of weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
