$100,000 - $140,000

Responsibilities:
  • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
  • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
  • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
  • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently
  • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
  • Manage the entire estate administration process from inception to closure
  • Work with paralegal and staff to file probate documents, petitions, and related court forms
  • Coordinate communication with courts, clients, beneficiaries, and other relevant parties
  • Conduct legal research on probate laws, regulations, and case precedents
  • Analyze complex legal issues related to estate administration and provide strategic recommendations
  • Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of estate administration
  • Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Oversee the management of estate assets, including financial accounts, real estate, and personal property
  • Work closely with financial institutions, appraisers, and other professionals involved in the estate settlement process
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing estate administration
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
  • Successful completion of the bar exam
  • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and proactively, and remain effective under pressure
  • A collaborative team player as well as a self-motivated independent worker
  • Highly organized and exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen sense of urgency
