Position Details:

  • Non-Welding Position

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM (with overtime on Saturdays as needed)

  • Pay Rate: 19.00 - 19.50 per hour (paid weekly)

  • Location: Pipe Yard

  • Type: Fulltime Temp position with potential for permanent hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication.

  • Set up and maintain machines in the Fab Shop, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Accurately measure random pipe lengths using a tape measure.

  • Safely and efficiently cut pipe with band saws and/or torches.

  • Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines with precision.

  • Move loose or bundled pipe within the yard and assemble orders in single sticks or bundles.

  • Maintain work supplies in an organized manner to promote efficiency.

  • Observe and practice all necessary safety precautions during fabricating, cutting, assembling, and stacking.

  • Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required (must be listed on all resumes).

  • Assessment Requirements: Must successfully complete a Forklift Assessment.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Superior math skills to calculate product quantities.

  • Knowledge of safe work practices required in the pipe yard.

  • Familiarity with operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe (OSHA and Client Safety Policies training will be provided on-site).

  • Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Fabricators in this role are typically responsible for machine operations, general labor, and assembly work. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills while working with a leading team in the industry.

Pay Details: 19.00 to 19.50 per hour
