General Laborer

Join our team as a Painter Helper, where you will be a vital part of our production process, assisting with painting tasks and ensuring the quality of our products. This position offers a dynamic and team-oriented work environment with opportunities for cross-training in various production areas.
Responsibilities- Assist with painting tasks, including mixing paint (acetone, water) and using a spray gun to paint blades.
- Read job orders to determine paint colors and quantities.
- Wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirator, apron, gloves, glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
- Work in a paint booth with suction air to reduce paint spray.
- Inspect materials being produced or packed, and perform required tests as defined in standard operating procedures.
- Report any problems to the supervisor and communicate effectively with team members.
- Meet production goals in a timely manner while being flexible and team-oriented.
- Perform various production roles and shift locations as needed, including dressing, packaging, grinding, CET printing, and stamping.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job orders.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of working in fast-paced environments.
- No prior painting experience required, but a basic understanding of the production environment is preferred.
- Reliability and tenure are valued over experience.
- Comfortable working with paint and acetone.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes working in a warehouse with erratic temperature control, subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles. The role involves operating large equipment and machinery such as production machines and forklifts. Employees must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses, which are provided. Physical requirements include frequently lifting up to 35 lbs, standing or sitting for extended periods, and performing repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing.
