Teleinstruction Teacher for the Visually Impaired - Remote School Setting in North Dakota

Are you a skilled and compassionate teacher with expertise in working with students who are visually impaired? We are seeking a Teleinstruction Teacher for the Visually Impaired to join our team in a remote school setting, specifically serving students in North Dakota. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with visual impairments through virtual instruction and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual instruction and support to students who are visually impaired in a school setting, focusing on the needs of students in North Dakota.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans and accommodations to meet students' needs.
  • Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to support students' learning goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' success.
  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to monitor students' progress.
  • Provide training and support to students, teachers, and caregivers on strategies for supporting students with visual impairments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education with a focus on visual impairments.
  • Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, with eligibility to work in North Dakota.
  • Experience working with students who are visually impaired in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and resources for students with visual impairments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and technology for virtual instruction.
