 Job Description:
We’re looking for a Mobile Designer with a strong background in mobile applications. You’ll be in involved throughout the entire design process from gathering user insights to producing visual detailed designs. You will work closely with strategists, developers, product managers and other team members as you build a best-of-class user experience. Having a strong understanding of designing for the mobile and tablet space is required. Coding is not a requirement but it is best to have an understanding of what is possible within iOS and Android applications. Turning complex systems and information into useful, usable and engaging user experiences is a must. 

As a Mobile App UX/UI Designer you’ll be asked to:

• Speak for our member audience – their needs, goals, motivations, painpoints and mindsets - throughout the project lifecycle 
• Produce UX deliverables and present them back to the internal team.
. From digital strategies, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and research methodologies
• Create detailed visual design compositions 
• Bring forth new design thinking and industry best practices in the mobile space
• Maintain the integrity of brand and design standards 
• Work with your User Experience designers on the web counterpart to ensure features and functionality are consistent 
• Work with our team of front end and back end developers to ensure that your vision becomes a reality and adjust work to fit technical requirements and limitations 

Key Competencies and Role Essentials 

• 5+ years web/mobile design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web/mobile design, digital media, or relevant experience
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven to be part of a team
• Strong conceptual thinking
• Solid understanding of interface design and IA/UX/interaction design; strong interaction design and visual design skills 
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS from a design perspective
• Knowledge of current mobile design standards & best practices 
• A true understanding of UX principles and an advocate for User-Centered design 
• Experience designing for consumer-facing mobile applications
• Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas and execute accurately against them in a highly collaborative environment
• Proficient with: Sketch, Axure, Invision, Simpli, Photoshop, Microsoft Office

• Previous work experience in an agile environment process a plus
• Thrives in a collaborative environment 
• Passionate about how brands are expressed through digital platforms
• Ability to multi-task is of major importance
• Understanding and experience applying accessibility standards

Reporting Relationships 

• You will report to a UX Lead in Core Digital Solutions.
