ProCare Therapy is looking to fill a School Psychologist contract job in our school districtThis is a part-time, virtualposition startingASAP As a School Psychologist, you will provide essential support for 1 student. You will help this student with evaluations and IEP write ups.
Location: Downingtown, PA
Job Type:Part-Time School Psychologist
Hours: 5-10 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all student initial and re-evaluations, including student testing
- Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies.
- Work with students, families, and school staff to address and resolve conflicts and behavioral concerns.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania
- *Must be Bilingual in English and Japanese*
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a virtual School Psychologistis preferred.
- Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology, mental health, and education.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology related to psychology and education.
Salary and Benefits:
- Weekly Pay
- $48-$53 hourly rate. Pay dependent on experience and school district budget.
