Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

About the Position:
Soliant Education is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite contract position in the Beaver Pond, GA area for the 2024-2025 school year. In this role, you will work directly with both General Education and Special Education students to provide critical psychological services, including psychological evaluations, counseling, and behavioral interventions. You will also participate in IEP/ARD meetings and collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for students, assessing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Write prehensive evaluation reports with clear remendations for academic acmodations, interventions, and behavioral support.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Actively participate in IEP/ARD meetings to share evaluation results, offer remendations, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff on strategies to support students.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to create and implement effective behavior management plans and classroom interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations, meetings, counseling sessions, and other related documentation.
  • Provide crisis intervention and assist in managing student behavioral challenges.
  • Ensure pliance with state and federal regulations, including special education laws, IEP requirements, and ethical standards of school psychology.
  • Work with parents and school teams to support the emotional, social, and academic development of students.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia (or ability to obtain certification prior to the start date).
  • Experience in psychological evaluations, writing reports, and providing counseling services.
  • Familiarity with special education processes, including IEPs and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Excellent munication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Crisis intervention and behavioral management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student data appropriately.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively.
