Job Title: School Psychologist

A full-time onsite contract position for a school psychologist is available in the Beaver Pond, GA area for the 2024-2025 school year.

About the Role:

Soliant Education seeks an experienced school psychologist to work directly with General Education and Special Education students, providing critical psychological services including psychological evaluations, counseling, and behavioral interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations assessing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Write detailed evaluation reports with recommendations for academic accommodations, interventions, and behavioral support.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in IEP/ARD meetings to share evaluation results and collaborate on strategies to support students.
  • Consult with teachers to create effective behavior management plans and classroom interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, meetings, and other documentation.
  • Provide crisis intervention and manage student behavioral challenges.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia or ability to obtain certification prior to start date.
  • Experience in psychological evaluations, writing reports, and providing counseling services.
  • Familiarity with special education processes, including IEPs and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and ongoing support from Soliant Education.
