Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and record daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries
• Contribute to the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Investigate and address any discrepancies between the general ledger and subledgers
• Engage with divisional accounting teams on a regular basis to ensure coordinated financial operations
• Provide support for special projects centered on finance, as and when required
• Execute other accounting tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
• Applicant must have a minimum of one year of experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS industry.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential for this role.
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary.
• Applicant should have a solid understanding of the General Ledger and its functions.
• Capability to handle Journal Entries accurately and efficiently is required.
• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures is a must.
• Familiarity with Oracle software will be beneficial in this role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SAP for managing financial transactions and reporting is an added advantage. GAAP & MS Excel knowledge preferred
