Paraprofessional Position

ProCare Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Paraprofessional for a contract position at a school in Dracut, MA. Job Details:
  • Position: Full Time-8:15am-2:50pm
  • Pay Rate: $20-22/hour
  • Location: Onsite
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Caseload: Elementary, ASD program
Key Responsibilities:
  • IEP Support: Assist students in adhering to their Individualized Education Plans and achieving their educational objectives.
  • Classroom Support: Collaborate with the lead teacher in managing classroom dynamics, delivering lessons, and facilitating instructional activities.
  • Personal Care: Aid students with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene and mobility, as necessary.
  • Behavioral Management: Apply effective behavior management strategies to support students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Supervision: Oversee students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess to ensure a safe and engaging environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification: Valid Paraprofessional license/certification in Massachusetts
