**About the Role:**
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Westfield, Indiana. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting students and enhancing their educational experience. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide personalized support and help create a positive, engaging learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Student Support:** Provide individualized and small group support to students, assisting with classroom activities, assignments, and specific learning goals. Help students with special needs or those requiring additional support to achieve their academic potential.
- **Classroom Assistance:** Assist teachers in managing classroom activities and maintaining an organized, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Support instructional activities and preparation of teaching materials as needed.
- **Behavior Management:** Implement behavior management strategies to foster a positive classroom atmosphere. Support students in developing appropriate social skills and behaviors, and address any behavioral issues in a constructive manner.
- **Instructional Support:** Aid in the execution of lesson plans and educational activities as directed by the teacher. Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure their engagement and progress.
- **Monitoring and Documentation:** Observe and document student progress and behavior. Provide feedback to teachers and parents regarding student performance and areas needing additional support or intervention.
- **munication:** Build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff. municate effectively to support student learning and address any concerns or needs that arise.
- **Professional Development:** Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in education and student support.

**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or coursework in education or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience:** Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred. Experience with students with special needs or in similar support roles is a plus.
- **Skills:** Strong munication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students, and effective classroom management skills. Patience, empathy, and a mitment to supporting student success are essential.
